Creative Connected Storytelling
Creative Connected Storytelling blends therapeutic recreation, improv theatre, and creative writing concepts to spark imagination, connection, and self expression.
Rooted in evidence-based recreation therapy practices and supporting the Emotional, Social & Cognitive Domains of Wellness, the program is specifically designed to be adaptable and inclusive—welcoming participants of any ability. Our programs are tailored to meet the needs of participants, and always delivered with a person centered approach.
This program is specifically designed for seniors, and is suitable for everyone from independent living to memory care!
Story Explorers
Story Explorers is an Intergenerational Program designed to connect youth and seniors through a multi-session experience. Specifically designed to provide opportunities for connection and relationship building, as well as creative expression at any age!
Story Explorers partners senior homes with schools, youth organizations or community registration.
It has been an exceptional experience for both the youth and seniors to explore imagination, storytelling and confidence building in intentionally guided sessions.
If you're looking for a way to bring intergenerational programming to your community, Story Explorers is a unique and fun way to connect across generations!
Community Programs
InnovAgeless offers programs in communities throughout Calgary and surrounding area. Partnering with adult day programs, home care providers and offering open registration allows us to reach more Storytellers who may not live in a Senior Living Community. There are Storytellers of all ages and backgrounds who benefit from Creative Connected Storytelling, and InnovAgeless is proud to help each and every one of them discover their creative voice, connect with others in a fun and engaging way, and provide an opportunity to enjoy into a unique creative expression experience.
